Dr Anelise De Souza has been with IPN since 2011 and has been overwhelmed by the way the Tasmanian public have made her and her family welcome. Dr De Souza, originally from Brazil became an Australian Citizen in 2012.
Dr De Souza has been a Medical Practitioner for 16 years with nearly 8 of those years in Tasmania. She is a trained Emergency and Life Support Practitioner, Lecturer at the University of Tasmania and Mentor for the John Flynn Scholarship Program. She has a Bachelor of Medicine and has a particular interest in Women’s Health Issues and Childhood Health and is also qualified as part of the antenatal assistance program. Dr De Souza speaks English, German, Italian, Portugese, French and Spanish. She is family orientated and balances work with her young family.
